Umbrella Accounts
The Los Gatos Community Foundation, Inc. is an Umbrella organization that encourages individuals and groups to raise funds for the betterment of our local communities.
In order to comply with the tax laws and to retain the tax deductibility of the funds contributed by those individuals and groups so that they are protected under the non-profit Umbrella of the Foundation, we ask that the funds are raised and donated to the Los Gatos Community Foundation, Inc. as follows:
- To improve the quality of life through improvements in the Los Gatos area
- To make grants to other non-profit organizations
- To give scholarships to deserving students in the local high schools
